At GIGIPAYNE Studio, fashion education goes far beyond the classroom. We regularly collaborate with leading fashion institutions in Thailand, including CIDI Chanapatana Fashion Design Institute, to deliver hands-on textile and surface design workshops for both local and international students. These sessions give future designers the chance to explore materials in a more experimental, personal way — something that traditional programs often don’t have time for.

One of our most memorable programs was a 3-day intensive workshop for French exchange students studying alongside Thai fashion students. Together, they explored eco-printing, natural dyeing, and fabric transformation techniques such as reactive dyes, tie-dye, and expressive brush applications. Each student developed their own textile project, learning not just techniques but also how to build a design story through fabric.

Our studio is designed to support both beginners and advanced fashion learners, making it a creative bridge between craft and contemporary fashion education. Students often tell us they value the slower, more mindful process — working by hand, experimenting freely, and seeing how traditional textile knowledge can inspire modern design.
