Overview
Explore the vibrant technique of ice dyeing, where melting ice slowly pushes powdered dye through fabric to create bold, organic color patterns.
In this hands-on workshop at GIGIPAYNE Studio in Bangkok, you will learn how to fold and prepare fabric, apply reactive dyes, and use ice to produce unpredictable watercolor-like effects. As the ice melts, the colors blend and spread naturally, creating one-of-a-kind designs.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in textile dyeing, color experimentation, and wearable art. By the end of the session, you will create a unique hand-dyed piece and gain practical techniques to continue experimenting with ice dyeing at home.
