At GIGIPAYNE, we believe sewing is a valuable craft that unlocks endless creativity. This hands-on experience is open to participants aged 14 and up. In the workshop, you’ll learn everything from understanding patterns to cutting and assembling clothes, setting you up for success on your sewing journey.
Techniques and Materials
Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you'll learn to operate and set up both industrial and home sewing machines. You’ll also get to practice essential techniques like straight stitch, backstitch, and seam finishing, along with learning how to use pattern paper, rulers, and muslin fabric. Our fully equipped studio in the heart of Bangkok provides the perfect space for your creativity to flourish, with access to modern machines and a dedicated pattern table.
Creative Project
By the end of the workshop, you'll have completed your own blouse shirt, providing you with a strong foundation for future fashion design and tailoring projects. Our fully equipped studio in the heart of Bangkok offers modern sewing machines, overlock machines, and a dedicated pattern table, all within an inspiring environment to help you refine your skills in real studio. With personalized guidance from our experienced instructors, you'll gain confidence in sewing techniques and leave with patterns you can use for future creations, setting you up for success in fashion design and tailoring.

Gigi has a professional background in arts/crafts/textiles and as a consultant trainer and both skill sets are clearly demonstrated in her workshops. I took two sewing classes (private, about three hours each class) and learned the basics of pattern making and working with a sewing machine, including two projects (tops) that allowed me to apply my learning. Gigi is patient and never rushes you, she observes how you progress and adjusts the lesson. If you are curious to explore sewing, you will be in good hands!
