Gigi is lovely and so kind. The sewing workshop was both smooth and comprehensive. I had an amazing time: I learned so much while relaxing for three hours. I can't wait to go back!

I went to the Introduction to Machine Sewing class today and I learnt how to draft a paper pattern and then turn that pattern into a piece of clothing, in the same afternoon. Gigi has a great way of teaching; she explains throughly whilst actually demonstrating and producing the paper pattern. I will be going for more lessons in the future.

My 9 year old and I had the BEST afternoon taking Gigi’s “Beginner Sewing 101” class. Gigi was patient, flexible, supportive, AND SO KIND! She gave perfect age-appropriate guidance to both myself and my child at every step of the way. She made learning how to make a shirt both easy to understand and so fun for both of us. My child loved the class and left there feeling so accomplished and wanting to take all of Gigi’s class and wanting to sew more items right away! Win! I wish the class was longer than 3-hours. We never ever felt rushed but only because we were enjoying ourselves so much. We left with a pattern that I will be able to reuse for myself. My son’s pattern will need more adjustments but perhaps I will be able to figure that out comparing them to mine. I still have more to learn to feel confident doing it solo. Thank you, Gigi! Oh, and the studio is just a short, short walk from the MRT so super easy to travel to.
