Overview

In this hands-on workshop at GIGIPAYNE Studio in Bangkok, you will learn how to control water, mix colors, and build simple compositions using beginner-friendly techniques. Watercolor encourages experimentation, allowing colors to move naturally across the paper while you explore different brush strokes and layering methods.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to relax, experiment with painting, and develop a new creative skill. By the end of the session, you will complete your own watercolor artwork and gain the confidence to continue painting on your own.
Techniques & Materials
Participants will explore the essential techniques used in watercolor painting.
You will learn how to:
Mix watercolor pigments to create balanced color palettes
Control water flow for soft gradients and washes
Use wet-on-wet techniques for fluid blending
Apply wet-on-dry layering to build depth
Use dry brush techniques for texture and details
All materials are provided, including:
Watercolor paints and palettes
Quality watercolor paper
Brushes in various sizes
Mixing tools and water containers
Throughout the workshop you will practice these techniques while experimenting with color and composition.
Your Creative Project
During the workshop you will create your own watercolor painting.
Participants will:
Practice watercolor techniques on sample sheets
