Techniques and Materials
In this hands-on workshop, you will explore the techniques of creating dye baths, applying immersion dyeing, shibori, and eco-printing to fabrics. Learn how to select and prepare materials, extract vibrant colors, and experiment with different mordants to fix and adjust hues. You’ll be introduced to organic fabrics and natural dye sources, allowing you to create personalized color palettes while developing your skills in this sustainable art form.
Creative Project
By the end of the session, you will have crafted your own set of naturally dyed fabrics and T-shirt, each reflecting your personal style and creativity.
