Acrylic pouring is exactly what it sounds like. You mix fluid paints in a cup, layer the colors how you want them, and pour the whole thing over a blank resin figure. Tilt it around, let the paint run across the surface, and the pattern forms on its own — marbled, glossy, different every time.

At GIGIPAYNE Studio in Bangkok, you pick a character and a size, build your own color mix, and pour. Once the surface is set, you can pick up a brush and add details — a face, a small pattern, whatever you want to make it yours. A range of characters and sizes is available, from small pieces that work as a keyring or bag charm up to larger ones for a shelf at home.

It's a forgiving craft. The paint does a lot of the work for you, so beginners and kids get a good result without needing any art background. Groups work well in this session too — everyone's piece comes out different, and nobody ends up stuck.

You leave with one finished acrylic-poured character in your chosen size, ready to take home.
